The Educational Mission of this Site

This website is a place to preserve and explore the history of the 351st Infantry Regiment. It was created in honor of the memories and stories shared by our dad, Louis Nardin, a combat infantryman from Company B. He deeply respected his fellow soldiers and never forgot those who gave their lives during the difficult Italian Campaigns. His commitment to remembering their service is what inspired this project.

The 351st was part of the 88th Infantry Division—known as the "Blue Devils"—and played a key role in some of the hardest-fought battles of the war. From climbing the rugged Apennine Mountains to fighting for critical positions, these soldiers showed incredible strength and determination. Through this site we aim to honor all the units of the 88th.

We invite historians, descendants of veterans, military buffs, and anyone interested in this chapter of history to contact us. Whether you have stories, documents, or just want to learn more, your involvement helps keep the memory of these men alive. Together, we can make sure their courage and sacrifice are never forgotten.
